About
I am a rising Junior at Cornell University, an Ivy League Institution, studying Biology & Society with an intent to minor in Health Policy or Human Development. I also got a contingent acceptance to West Point on the basis that I finish completing the application and pass a physical. At Cornell, my major has provided training in Biology and the social sciences as well as the complex interactions between the two disciplines and the worlds that they impact. In high school I recieved a 5 on the APUSH and APEnglish exams and a 4 on the APBiology exam.
I’ve played the piano since I was 4 years old, the guitar since I was 12 years old, and the Djembe is my most recent addition to the five instruments I play.
Lastly, I’ve played tennis since I was a kindergarten student and I have a Black Belt in World Oyama Karate now known in New York as Bushiken Karate, a traditional, full contact Japanese Karate style.
The main thing I’ve enjoyed from tutoring and coaching is the look on the person’s face when the idea, concept, or skill finally clicks. The pride in their face when they finally “get” the thing we are working on.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rising Junior at Cornell University, an Ivy League Institution, studying Biology & Society with a focus in Human development and social policies with intent to minor in Human Development or Health Policy.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching my junior year of high school. A teacher in my school recommended me as a tutor to a student's parent to help the studnet understand biology. I really enjoyed the experience, it was through our work together that the student passed the Regent's exam (he had failed it the first time), it felt nice helping in such a way so I kept it up and added other subjects I was good at such as music and martial arts.
