Ms. Chavez

I am currently a Teaching Assistant in a dual language classroom grade kindergarten. I have been teaching for more than 3 years. I am bilingual fluent both in English and Spanish. I have worked with students in a small group instruction supporting them in their struggles when it comes to math, reading, and writing. I use manipulates and other resources to help better support them for the classwork, furthermore I review what has been taught by my classroom teacher. I also do charts that goes appropriately for the lesson plans. Importantly I am caring and make sure my students are heard and feel motivated. In my classroom there’s a variety of students with knowing both languages , learning Spanish or learning English.
