Spanish Breeze

I am proficient in counseling special populations, recognizing societal and environmental factors affecting learners, and developmental guidance program implementation. My practicum and internship experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set that comprises of exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. I have been trained to provide individualized student attention, behavior management, problem-solving and discussion, and learning styles assessment. My strong desire to help communities coupled with my experience interning at P.S. 149 makes me a strong candidate for the position available at your organization.

Counselors must be positive role models and have a vested interest in student success. Helping students recognize their potential by focusing on their accomplishments and reflection on past successes helps promote positive self-concept. I am fully committed and determined to advocate for students as I believe every person, if given the proper guidance, can find a path to their own personal success.

I have strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, and I am currently certified as a bilingual counselor. I believe you will discover my warm personality, strong communication skills, and maturity to be of great interest.
