Keiran Carpen | Harvard Class of 2019 | A.B. Honors in Chemistry and Physics, Language Citation in Mandarin Chinese

Hi, my name is Keiran Carpen and I currently work at Google as a software engineer. Prior to Google, I attended Harvard University where I earned my A.B. with Honors in Chemistry and Physics and a language citation in Mandarin Chinese.

I love teaching and sharing my passion for Math and Science with others. Since I was a child, I have always been very curious about the physical universe and natural phenomenons. I have experience tutoring Math, Chemistry, and Coding and have been a course assistant for Multivariable Calculus at Harvard. Not only do I mediate productive tutoring sessions but also create a portfolio of work and material that my students can keep for further personal studies.

In addition to my passion for the physical sciences, I also enjoy simply hanging out with friends and family and meeting new people. Combining these two things has made teaching such a pleasurable experience. I've had great joy teaching individuals and groups of students from ages 8-21 and I hope to continue teaching and helping others!
