Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask parents about the skills students have strengths and to ask about what students need to work on-by grade level and subject area. I like to get to know students by asking questions to get to know them/interests and base their learning on their interests. I also ask a student what he/she has strengths and what he or she needs more help with. It's important to tailor learning to student needs.
