About
Hey I'm DUHAUB ,I studied Medicine but graduate with a Bachelor in Economics. I then got a Higher Certificate Degree in SoftwarevEngineering. My passion for Math lead me to discover another passion which is Software Engineering particularly Artificial Inelligence which rely solely in Mathematics.
Since then I gain interest about pedagogy ,cognitive neuroscience relative to Math as it's a mystified subject(the famous either you're born with math or not).
Thanks to the evolution of neuroscience , I firmly believe in the growth mindset ,the evolutive aspect of the brain : You can learn almost anything You put your mind into unless there's a specific structure and one's put dedication and consistency.
Anyone that would have the chance to work with me would benefit of my learning experience , will be impregnate of this growth mindset attitude, learn to tackle any aspiring difficulty regarding learning . He'll be equiped to become and independant learner regarding Math and get some valuable pragmatic lesson about how to learn efficiently and effectively.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I'll try to get familiar with the student and establish a trust between both , then I'll get an idea about the curent student level in Math if there's any prerequisite he needs to learn before starting the tutoring.
Finally I'll familiarize the student with the Growth Mindset : You can learn anything you want unless you put dedication and consistency.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor in Economics and a Higher Technician Certificate in Software Engineering.
My passion for Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence is also a big plus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Student could benefit for a free first session if they required it , after that the starting price would be at $30 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I start by helping my family and friend learning Math then I discovered that I like it and since then I do it on my free time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with Senior High School student , but I won't have any issue working with Middle and Hight school student.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First they need to have an idea about what element or subject they need clarification. They also need to put time and try to learn the content first , this way it become a lot easier for them when the tutor explain and they get a lot of aha moment making the lesson amaizing for both party.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
This is really specific and would depend on the subject but what I would recommend to student is to try to read the material and do an effort to comprehend it , during the process they should note any difficulty that arise and mention it to their tutor in order to get some explanations.
