Reading Is Fun!!!

Greetings! My name is Nicole Madison and I am a certified Special Educator. I have worked in the field of education for more than 20 years and am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. One way to do so is to help struggling readers acquire and systematically practice discrete skills that will effectively, and efficiently, propel them forward. I am currently an Associate Level Orton-Gillingham Practioner. In my free time, (did I mention I have three children), I am also working towards my Certified Level Certification in Orton-Gillingham. I am also trained in Project Read and am certified in the Lindamood Phoneme Sequence (LIPS) program for reading, spelling and speech.

I cherish the connection I make with my students as we journey towards greater self-confidence and resilience when confronted with text. Reading can be stressful for so many students that are struggling. Past failures decrease motivation and resistance begins.
