About
Every student learns differently. It is important to realize this. In classrooms, teachers are unable to match the learning style of every individual student, it is simply not possible. As a tutor, I can adjust my teaching style to match the learning style of the student. Further, due to my educational background* and previous tutoring experineces**, I am able to provide different methods and examples to get to the same end result.
*I have my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and am currently studying for my PhD.
**I have been tutoring, both through college institutions and privately, for over five years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
One of the best ways to become better at math, is consistent practice. Those who work at a constant pace throughout the year and don’t wait until the last minute tend to understand and comprehend the material better. How much time outside of class will vary from student to student, however devising a plan for how that time is spent is crucial to the success of the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and am currently working towards my PhD. I tutor at the college as well as independently for all types of math. I have several years of tutoring experience.
