I am a fourth year Medical Student at Upstate Medical University. I have been tutoring and TA'ing basic science courses for nearly ten years, including my years in undergrad and Medical School. I will tailor individual lessons to meet the students needs and allow for the students to excel.
I truly enjoy watching the personal growth in those who i tutor, and feel a sense of joy in knowing I assisted another person in reaching his/her goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to initially discuss the students learning style, so that I can orient myself and tailor my lessons to best suit the students needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently tutor as an elective course i medical school. I assisted by TA'ing labs in undergrad. I also have strong foundational knowledge in the science courses via my rigorous coursework in the medical school curriculum.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $55 for an hour long lesson (prep time does not factor into the cost, only meeting time). The pricing can vary depending on level of difficulty and involvement.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in high school, in which I would tutor fellow classmates through my schools chapter of the honor society.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students from middle school through the graduate level.
