Dr. Brandons Biology And Chemistry Tutoring

Hi, my name is Brandon, I have a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, and I have six years of teaching experience in both Biology and Chemistry at the college level. In those six years I have worked extensively with students one-on-one to see them succeed when they are struggling. My strategy is to determine what you are struggling with, determine whether or not it is a problem with content, confidence, or both, and tailor lessons to meet your needs. As we work together I make observations on your progress, and also ask how you are feeling not only about the material, but also how you feel about the methods I am using. My goal is to ensure that what I am doing matches your needs, as meeting YOUR needs ensures YOUR success. When you are comfortable and knowledgable in your material, or have that "ah-ha" moment, I feel as though I have done my job.

I have worked with a diverse group of students, from different learning levels, socioeconomic backgrounds, racial backgrounds, learning abilities, and confidence levels. I have not had a situation where I have not been able to tailor tutoring to someones specific needs.
