Hopper tutors my son Logan in computers. Hopper is easy going and has a good rapport with Logan. Logan looks forward to Hopper’s visit which is saying a lot about Hopper. Although my son thinks he knows almost all there is about computers he does tell me that he does learn more every time he has a class with Hopper. We are pleased with Hopper’s skills.

When looking for a tutor, consider their education, experience, and teaching style. It is also helpful to check out their reviews and ask for references. While it is important to consider your long-term goals, don't be afraid to negotiate terms and find an arrangement that works for you and meets your needs.

Before talking to a teacher about your needs, it is a good idea to think through the following questions:

  1. What do you hope to achieve through tutoring? Are you looking to improve your grades, catch up on missed material, or prepare for an exam?

  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses in the subject? It is important to have a clear understanding of where you need the most help.

  3. What is your learning style? Do you learn best through visual aids, hands-on activities, or verbal explanations? Knowing your learning style can help you find a tutor who can tailor their approach to your needs.

  4. What are your availability and scheduling needs? Consider the days and times that work best for you, as well as any other commitments you may have.
