William Hagerstrom

Hi, I am an award winning mathematics student at the University of Rochester. Since math is my passion, I love to spread the knowledge and equip others with the invaluable tools from algebra, geometry, calculus, and all other areas of math. They have trusted me to lead workshops and grade for the honors calculus courses. As this a particularly difficult sequence of courses with many challenging problems and ideas, the students are bound to ask many questions. A key skill I have developed is turning a student's questions into a moment of discovery. I find it more useful to lead and support students in their path to understand rather than show them the correct ideas and leave them to their own devices.
