Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To ensure that we are a good fit, I would like to have an introductory 15-minute session where the student and I meet to discuss their tutoring needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Ph.D. candidate in environmental physiology and biochemistry. I have been a graduate teaching assistant for Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology Techniques, and Microbiology. I have also been a tutor for soil science and horticulture courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price is $100 an hour, but the time can be pro-rated for fractions of an hour.
