At Margot Music Works!, The mission is to create well rounded performers who are singing healthily while also bring their personality to their work. I do this by creating a space that is encouraging and nurturing. I provide students with the tools for easy and healthy vocal production as well as guidance to enhance their stage prescence and acting. I believe that HOW we sing and WHY we sing should not be mutually excluive, but rather they work in tandom. Its never to early to think about the intention of a song. When perfrormers are grounded in their intention, it only enhances their vocal production and allows them to have more fun overall.
I currently hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the Boston Conservatory and a Master of Music in Musical Theatre from NYU Steinhardt. I have personal experience as a performer who has toured and worked perfessionally. I have recently, last year, started teaching students of all ages. I am equipped to help students reach their goals whether its preparation for an audition or just learning thier favorite songs.
I enjoy being apart of a performer's growth. Helping a student realize their own strengths makes the job all worth while. I strive to create a warm environment that allows students explore their capabilities without judgement. I know that my instruction has been successful when I see a student having fun with their work and giving themselves permission to perform without restraint.

I generally like to hear a new student sing something that they enjoy during the first lesson. When they sing, I can get a sense of their vocal range and what type of repertoire they are drawn to. Then we will generally talk about why they are seeking voice lessons and what they hope achieve so that we can work together to reach their goals.
