About
Do you want to learn to express yourself in your music? Looking for afforidable lessons, practice plans and tips and encouraging feedback?
I have played violin for almost 20 years, teaching it intermittently. With extensive performance experience, I aim to teach my students technique and performance skills.
I teach using a variety of pieces, including any selections a student chooses to work on. I can also teach using the Suzuki method if requested, or if the student has already started learning with this method.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 for a half hour lesson and $35 for a hour lesson.
For self-motivated adult learners, I offer the option of bi-weekly lessons (every other week).
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should consider how much extra time they have to devote to practicing. At a minimum, 15 minutes of practice every day is essential. Practicing 2 hours on one day and none the next three days will also yield much less overall progress then the same amount of time evenly divided over 4 days.
