Hello! My name is Arianna Neimark, I am a senior at NYU Stern School of Business with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance, and Entrepreneurship and a minor in Psychology.
I have been tutoring for about 6 years now, I work mostly in the ACT and college admissions world, but am familiar with all types of subjects- AP Lit, AP Lang, AP Psych, etc… I received a 35 on my ACT to get into NYU. My high school GPA was a weighted 4.9 and a non weighted 4.0. I’ve had mainly high school students with a few outliers of middle and elementary school students, college students, and adult learners.
Having a psychology background, I have learned memory tricks and helpful psychological tools to get students to their academic goals. All my work is structured and based on science, and my students have always performed! Having tutored more than 15 ACT learners, all have received above a 32 on the final exam. My (high school) student’s grades increase by an average of 1.4 letters within a 1-3 month period, depending on the student.
What makes my lessons special, aside from the scientific backing, is how personalized they are. Each student learns different and therefore I will adjust to the student’s needs. I have worked with people of all ages- from teaching kids the alphabet to teaching adults about economics, I have taught everyone! I worked for a long time with special needs children and teenagers as a personal trainer and then as a nanny. I love people and I am very personable!
