Hello students,
I am a passionate Historian who teaches Middle School Social Studies. Even as an educator I am still a student who is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching Social Studies. My biggest strengths are creating individualize lesson plans that that cater to students needs.
I love finding new and creative ways to teach my students to understand social studies concepts. While creating carefully individualize plans, I also incorporate real-life concepts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I like to first meet with students to discuss our goals as teacher and student in order to have clear expectations. During this initial discussion I like to discuss strengths and weaknesses to be able to create individualize plans that focus on building students weaknesses. I also expect the student to ask any questions that may have concerning our tutoring lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2015. Currently I am continuing my studies at Fairleigh Dickinson to obtain a Master of Arts in teaching Social Studies, to be completed in Spring 2021. I work as a certified social studies teacher at Middle School teaching 6th grade World History. I also have experience teaching High School students United States History.
