About
I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science from The State University of New York College at Cortland, with a major in Early Childhood- Childhood Education with a concentration in the Arts and Humanities Magna Cum Laude. I am certified through New York State to teach students ages birth through sixth grade. I am continuing my studies to obtain a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development and Learning: Diverse Children and Families (Early Childhood Special Education) from the City University of New York at Hunter College.
I have worked in a number of classrooms all ranging in ages, from infants to fifth graders. I work as a Preschool Teacher with children ages 2-5. I have also worked in non-school settings, such as camp programs, where I was the programming head counselor for children entering Kindergarten and First grade.
I am empathetic, organized, and encouraging with all students. I enjoy interweaving curricular areas in order to create the most meaningful learning opportunities for students. I believe it is essential to build trust with both parents and children in order to create and achieve goals.
