About
Hello everyone, and welcome! I’m Manan Doshi, and I’m genuinely thrilled to be here with you this year.
I know high school can feel like a lot—some days you’re excited, other days you’re overwhelmed, stressed, tired, or just not sure why a certain topic even matters. That’s completely normal. I’ve been where you are, and I remember how it feels when something doesn’t click right away, when life outside school gets heavy, or when you’re carrying pressure from grades, friends, family, or the future.
You don’t have to pretend everything is fine here. My classroom is a place where it’s okay to struggle, to ask “dumb” questions (there are none), to need extra time, or to say, “I don’t get it… yet.” I believe every single one of you is capable of learning and growing, even if the pace or path looks different for each person. My job isn’t just to cover the curriculum—it’s to help you actually understand it, connect it to your life, and build confidence along the way.
Whether we’re tackling algebra, analyzing literature, exploring the periodic table, debating historical events, writing essays, practicing Spanish, or preparing for college and career choices, I’ve got your back. We’ll move forward together, step by step. I’ll explain things in multiple ways, offer extra help, and celebrate the small wins just as much as the big ones.
Here’s my promise to you:
• I will respect you as individuals with real lives and real feelings.
• I will listen when you need to talk.
• I will challenge you because I believe in your potential.
• I will support you when things get hard.
You are not alone in this. If you’re falling behind, feeling anxious, or just having a rough week, come talk to me. We’ll figure it out—no judgment.
I’m really looking forward to learning about each of you, discovering your strengths, and watching you surprise yourselves with what you can do. Let’s make this a year where you not only learn the material but also learn that you’re stronger and more capable than you sometimes give yourself credit for.
Any questions before we dive in? I’m all ears.
