just graduated from Stanford with a BS in Computer science, Systems track. I started working with computers in middle school, and really value the strength of a good computer science education.
At Stanford, I took intensive math courses, courses on building operating systems and compilers, and numerous English classes as well. Having gone through the college application process with a high school GPA of 4, ACT score of 35, a 12 on my SAT writing section, 800s on SATII Math and Physics, and 5s on AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M), BC Calculus, and English Language, I am ready to help you through high school and college, too.
I have experience with leadership and teaching, from my Eagle Scout Project in high school to engaging with peers and teachers to excel at Stanford. I also taught my college radio certification class, and I spent a summer in Japan working for a machine learning startup with Japanese speaking bosses and coworkers, so I am comfortable communicating in every situation. I will be working at Capital One as a software developer starting September, as well.
Whether you're looking extra work and practice, help with a class, or guidance on a project, a skilled tutor is a valuable resource. Let's succeed together.
I worked with Alan in python. He provided clear instructions and explained the basics well enough for us to build a game and a website using Django!
I prefer to contact my students over text or email, then have a brief meeting either online, at their location, or at a cafe about expectations. Once those are set we get started and adjust as needed!
I completed an intensive computer science degree at Stanford, with immense 40 hour week+ courseloads for operating systems, compilers, programming language, and the like. I have also been working since high school and training my colleagues at work in the systems I develop.
I have adjustable rates based on the student's location, background, and needs.
