I am a private tutor dedicated to teaching people in the way they need best as everyone learns differently. Usually that means being approachable and patient as it's a marathon not a sprint!
History is the present! However, many students struggle with history because they find it boring because often often they are just learning dates for tests. However, history is all about themes and patterns and it can be less boring if thaught in multiple different ways because history is everything. I want to help students see the world through the lens of history!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Students doing my MA in Labor Studies and History. I did my undergrad in Social Sciences with a concentration in History. I also have a lot of experience tutoring as a private tutor working with students from k- college.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for tutors/teachers that fit your need and can be your support system and biggest cheerleader in improving. Someone who sees all subject of studies, especially history as being important. Someone who is passionate and dedicated and understands students learn in different ways
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How do I learn best? What do I look for in a tutor/teacher? What particular area do I need help in? What does improvement look like?
