I am perfectly bilingual in French and English. I grew up in France to American parents, and don't consider myself to be French or American - I'm somewhere in between both!

I consider myself to be very easygoing while still keeping my eye on the big picture and overall educational objectives. I had a few tutors growing up so I know what it's like to be on the other side!

I enjoy helping others - I love the feeling of sharing a mental breakthrough with others. Teaching also rekindles my love for what I am teaching! Imparting knowledge is a great feeling, and I think that I always learn just as much from my students.

    Henry uses a very systematic program that is tailored to my personal goals. He applies a combination of phonetics, grammar, and common usage. He gives helpful feedback every step of the way, and then tailors the next session based on my needs. As an eduator myself, I would say Henry has a gift for teaching.

    Man of Many Words designed a program just for me. I had been studying for a long time with Duolingo and so had a decent vocabulary. But I couldnt speak spontaneously. So he worked with me on that, conversing on line in ways that enhanced my progress and boosted my confidence. Another friend who was a beginner used him, and for her he designed a more formal program combining speaking, writing and vocabulary. I cant recommend him highly enough!

    He found a way to make my 14 year old son really take possession of the French language - in a way none of the tutors weve worked with in the past have managed. All of a sudden, Dean was excited about his own progress, and came to his homework with a lot less dread. Incredible what working with a native speaker like Henry can do. Plus, Henrys got a great sense of humor and I think he made a big impression on Dean.
