What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first session, I will asses your current language level and what needs to be improved (grammar, vocab, prononciation, etc). From here, we agree on learning objectives and decide what the focus of the lessons will be. I offer a 30 minute FREE first session for this purposes.
You won't have to buy any books, I will provide you with all the necessary materials!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started to learn German during elementary school and was proficient in German by the end of highschool (C1). At 18 I moved to Germany for university education. During my studies I took courses in linguistics and phonetics. I also was president of the debating society at my uni. All in all I lived in Germany for 9 years.

15$ for 60 minutes.
I am not punctilious with the time, so if we need a few more minutes, it's still included in the price and I won't charge you anything extra.
How did you get started teaching?
German was my favourite subject at school and I was the best student in my class. So I started helping my classmates who struggled with the language by trying to make them feel as passionate about German as I was.
After moving to Germany, I made it a part time job and tought international students and high school students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with many very different people (ages from 8 to 53).
I prepared my students for their school exams and international language certificates (Goethe Zertifikat, TestDaF, DSH). I worked with people who wanted to learn German so they can study in Germany or needed the language for career purposes. I also had some students who liked the language just wanted to learn German for fun.
