Hello! I am a French tutor qualified to teach all levels of high school French, and college French 1-4. I majored in French grammar and linguistics in college and spent two years studying at French universities in Paris. I can help with homework, reading proficiency, studying for exams, accent/phonetics, and all types of grammar troubles.
French is an integral language for international travel, literature, law, cooking, academics, and all sorts of other fields! I have a passion for linguistics, and I love helping students understand and get excited about grammar. I think language learning is a crucial part of academic success no matter what direction life takes you!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students, I typically spend a while talking in French (as much as possible) to get a feel for their level, and asking what problems they might have with language learning. After that I like to focus on individual needs, whether it's verb conjugations, perfecting the accent, verb tenses, vocabulary, you name it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In additional to my college degree in French grammar and linguistics, I tutored several students during college, and I have taught English to French students as well.
