French Tutor
About
Born, raised and educated in France, I have been working all my career (10 years) in a French bank across the world (France, Hong Kong, New York), using formal and informal French, but also mastering English to convey accurately all nuances of both languages.
Patient, perfectionist, but also flexible, I have successfully taught various skills (Maths & Finance) back in France, for young adults looking to improve their grades. Ready to teach anyone willing to learn (from 10 y.o. onwards) all levels of French language.
Enjoy mentoring young generations, i help a lot of young professionals define and drive their own careers. I don’t limit myself to the skills to be developped but consider strongly the state of mind and goals of my students or mentees.
The idea of helping young adults succeed in an increasingly competitive academic and professional environment (especially in nyc) motivates me.

Step 1, understand the goals, starting point (both mentally and technically) of my student
Step 2, evaluate the amount of work needed and make sure the student is aware and motivated to put in the work
Step 3, start with 2 or 3 sessions and review feedbacks from the student (and its guardians if applicable)
Step 4, refine the process, by adjusting frequency of classes, balance between oral and written tasks, balance between tutored work and homework, etc..
