I am an International Medical Graduate pursuing cardio-thoracic surgery residency. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Smolensk State Medical University with a Doctorate of Medicine. I finished my internship in India and then started studying for USMLE. I scored 254 and 256 in Step 1 and 2 CK respectively. I am right now working towards building a better CV for surgery residency.
I started tutoring early during med school where I would help fellow juniors to pass their tests/exams and realized I'm very good at this from the feedback I received from the juniors. I've been tutoring ever since.
I'm excellent at making students understand the concept rather than memorizing it. I help students figure out how to rule out options in multiple-choice questions, help them strategize how to study for the board exams and excel in them. I have taught more than 100 students in various subjects including A&P, Pharmacology, and Med-surge.
