Chinese/Mandarin as my first language and graduate with BS Biological Science with minor in Education.
I really enjoy teaching especially younger student. The amount of information that they can absorb and how they can differentiate with different tone in chinese pronounciation alwayas amazed me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If student doesn't have chinese school work, I will usually create a lesson plan, ask for parents approval and start teaching the student with animation, games that is related to chinese characters.
If student has school work, I will usually ask for student's syllabus and plan around my lesson plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated with BS Biological Science degree with minor of education.
Currently working towards my nursing degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 - $45 per hour depending on student's age and prior knowledge of Chinese.
How did you get started teaching?
Chinese/Mandarin is my first language and when I first move to the United State, that's when I started teaching Chinese/Mandarin one to one from pre-k to 12 grade.
