What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start from getting a sense of their class requiremnets, syllabus and knowledge level. Then, gradually built from these different information to determine what learning style works best for them. Include regular casual tests to determine the progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in Biology and over ten years of experience as a researcher. I have volunteered in various middle schools engaging students in science activities. I have also worked as a TA at undergraduate level. I am open to teaching Biology, Chemistry, SAT/GRE/ACT Math.

$20-$30 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
As part of my doctoral training, I was required to teach 3 lab courses and also train students one to one in lab work
What types of students have you worked with?
Undergraduate and high school level students in both lab and lecture format
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who has passion for the subject and explains things in a simplified manner
