About
I am a Medical student from Sharjah medical University who provides online tutoring and biology, biochem, biomechanics, botany, zoology, anatomy, humanphysio and other subjects related to biology in undergraduate level, i also tutor highschool and younger kids.
Tutoring for me was a way of understanding my subject and making it easier for my students, i try to make my classes easy, relative, visual and engaging.
My teaching methodology is very task and subject oriented, I make sure my students understand the subjects very well.
I have been tutoring since i was in highschool, most of my students are relieved after a class with me due to how simple i make it. I have helped write Biology papers and with biology exams with a consistent result of A+. During my peer tutoring program in highschool, i helped at risk students gradute.
Teaching has always been my passion, i first began teaching at age 10, my first student was my dyslexic younger sister, once i had a taste of the gratification that i get from a students success, i never looked back.
Teaching is just not about imparting knowledge, its about building a connection and learning how to teach a specific learner.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually ask them a few questions related to the subject and material so that i can understand what they need to be tutored in, then I teach them via skype ( i am a visual teacher),throughout the teaching process, i encourage my students to ask questions and then test them on the material taught at the end.

How did you get started teaching?
My first student was my dyslexic younger sister.
At age 10, i saw her struggle with her numbers so i decided i would be a responsible sibling and started looking for ways in which i could make her understand the concept, this soon turned into hours of regular tutoring and now she has qualified her GCSE's with an A in math and triple sciences. I couldn't have been more proud of my first student.
What types of students have you worked with?
I am currently tutoring autistic and dyslexic children in a special ed class - i teach complex biological concepts to those students who have always been told that they smart enough to grasp these concepts, its a rewarding job.
I have tutored at risk students through out my high school years in both biology and chemistry. The same follows for my undergraduate school.
Currently in med school, i tutor my juniors as well and pre-med students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
