About
Michael Grassia is a highly creative and professional cartoonist and educator with a career spanning over two decades.Throughout Michael’s career, he has shared his passion for art and storytelling to all grade levels including college. Michael created GET IN TOON!, a series of traveling workshops focusing on the art of cartooning. His love of storytelling led him to create A SIMPLE GUIDE TO STORYTELLING, an app that teaches storytelling through the comic strip format available on iOS and android. In 2019, Michael received an award for his dedication to the arts and education. At that same ceremony, Michael was given a proclamation by the Westchester Board of Legislators proclaiming October 5th to be Michael Grassia Day in Westchester County, New York. His work has appeared in comics, children’s books, greeting cards, animations, video games, and more. Currently, since the quarantine began, Michael has continued his educational work online by becoming a Digital Content Producer. Between his YouTube page and other social media sites, Michael has been constantly creating new content through live online tutorials and interviews with professionals in creative industries.
