Shai Frumkin is an Actress and a Writer based in New York City. Originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, she served two years in the Israel Defense Force. As a musician, she has been playing Flute and Piccolo in Europe, Israel and USA. She graduated from the Two Year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, NYC, where she was the Vincent D'Onofrio Scholarship award winner.
Her latest short film, Crush, which she co-wrote, co-produced and starred in, went to Festival De Cannes - Court Métrage (France), Chelsea Film Festival (NYC), The Collaborative Film Festival (LA), Oakville Film Festival (Canada), Boulevard Film Festival (NYC), Lift-Off Sessions (UK), First-Time Filmmakers (UK) and Strasberg Film Festival (NYC). For the latter she won the award of Best Actress in a Leading Role.
