Anastasia Hristidis

As an academic, artist and graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University with a fervent passion for education, I now focus on helping others succeed in academia. My most specialized subjects are English, Acting and Voice, College Preparation and Standardized Testing, The Arts (Music, Theatre, Film) and Sciences. I received perfect scores in English, Reading and Writing on the ACT and perfected the craft of writing in college where my thesis received honors. My nearly perfect score on the ACT and extensive studying of the college application process make me uniquely qualified for College Preparation. My main goal as a teacher is to help students feel comfortable in the intimidating world of academia by building their confidence and utilizing a more joyful and creative teaching method. Having been diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I understand on a fundamental level how to work with neurodivergent learners.
