Lissa

Hey! I'm Lissa- a NYC native, pianist, and future Diplomat. As my former positions as an Instructor, Music Specialist, and Tutor/Counselor, I have had the opportunity to work with young students and children. Through these experiences, I was able to assist which their academic needs as well as allowing them to express their creativity and find joy through music and instruments. Whether I was teaching them a new language or letting them jam out to their favorite tunes, it was a wonderful experience as I was able to create a comfortable nurturing environment which is so essential especially in early years of development. During my undergraduate experience in DC as an International Affairs major, I strengthened both my interpersonal and professional skills as it relates to communication, interacting with people of different backgrounds/age groups, and always lending a hand when people are in need, Lastly, I believe that I am attentive, outgoing, positive, and possess a strong work ethic!
