Hi there! My name is Jenna and I am a speech-language pathologist. I am licensed in NY state and received my certificate of clinical competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. I have worked with children ranging in age from birth to 21. I have experience working with children from various populations including Autism Spectrum Disorder, language delayed toddlers, children with speech and language disorders including apraxia, articulation disorders and expressive and receptive communication disorders. I have always loved working with children and have a vast skill-set to help tailor my services to best suit the needs of your child. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
I love working with children to help them reach their goals, meet their best potential and see them succeed. My work is extremely rewarding and I am passionate about continuing to offer my expertise to children to help them feel confident in difficulties they may be experiencing.

I will get to know the child, their strengths and specific interests to best tailor the activities to address our goals while also keeping them engaged.

I have received my TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities).
What types of students have you worked with?
Toddlers and preschoolers with language delays, elementary aged children with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language difficulties, as well as children/teenagers with apraxia, aphasia and cognitive deficits. I have also worked with children requiring augementative and alternative communication systems including high-tech devices (tobii Dynavox eyegaze), low-tech and no-tech systems. I have worked with various software programs for aided communication.
