I have many years of experience teaching Spanish on all levels. I have written several Spanish workbooks (Te Toca Tí), have presented many workshops on language teaching and am the recipient of a Teacher of the Year award. I will come to your home or meet at a coffee shop or library.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. I like to get to know a new student by asking questions about school, home , personal life to establish a rapport .
2. We start with easy conversation in Spanish to build confidence in Speaking.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a New York State Certified Spanish Teacher (5-12). I studied in Valencia, Spain in my Junior Year. While I was there , I lived with a Spanish family. I co-authored several Spanish workbooks and materials, which are used internationally.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a child. As I got older, I decided I wanted to teach high school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
To use our skills for ordering food in a ready aura to, II brought in some "Hispanic " foods and drinks. We set up a restaurant where the students were the food servers, preparers and customers and we rotated jobs every ten minutes and all performed in Spanish. The kids had a blast.
