Hi, my name is Ms. Kelly. I specialize in tutoring Reading Comprehension, Study Skills, ELA, Essay Prep, Essay Review, College Lists, and College Prep.

I also tutor some Social Sciences. If our tutoring match is a good fit, I look forward to helping you with understanding how to approach your studies, help you with time management, solution based thinking .

However, to start off, I would first help you identify three to five key areas you need help with. This will be part of our initial conversation. I will have to reflection on and list these areas that you need help. Also, while making these notes, I will ask you to jot down some comments you have regarding any subject and assignment concerns, your strengths and weaknesses, and what you are expected to accomplish, along with exact instructions or guidelines.

My expectations: my tutoring session goals with you are never open ended. We will identify and focus on a specific task we will complete during the tutoring session.

Remember, I don't do your work for you. I see my role as a tutoring, academic coach and consultant that will guide you and prompt you to an approach and framework that will help and encourage you with your strengths and weaknesses. Our focus will always be specific and goal oriented to work towards the desired expectations or achieve above and beyond the desired expectations
