About
Hi everyone I love teaching kids and adults. I use physical demonstrations to teach language to new language learners. I have over 6 years of in person and online teaching. I have a BFA from the University of California with a minor in Spanish. I lived in Madrid, España for a while which helped me increase my Spanish knowledge as well as being a great, fun experience of living in another country. I've done art ever since I was a small kid.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a substitute teacher for 4+ years in elementary schools in the Los Angeles area. I have recently returned to teaching and tutoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with American students, international students and a few students with ADHD and other learning challenges.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was working with one student who has ADHD and he had trouble focusing. I was proud that we did about 10-15 minutes of each lesson and he would walk around and play. I was able to refocus his efforts every 10 to 15 minutes and we got through his lessons.

Pick a teacher that you are comfortable with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
