About
As someone starting medical school, I understand the difficulties students can have with classes. I have been tutoring for the past 6 years, and know how to tailor my approach to each student. I have also been a teaching assistant in many biology, physics, and chemistry classes in college, so I have a sturdy base of information.
I love seeing my students succeed! There is nothing greater than seeing a student's face when they finally understand that one concept that they have been having difficulty with. It is my goal to pass on my study habits and knowledge to those that need it before I start school.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start off by asking my student what they have the most difficulty with. By having the student explain their thought process, I can create a plan specifically tailored towards their needs in order to help them achieve their best goals. I also ensure that all my tutoring sessions are held at a local library. I am a firm believer in having the proper environment to study, and a library is the perfect motivational place for a student to focus on their work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Biology and Sociology from Stony Brook University. I will be starting my M.D. this August as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
A longer commute time generally involves a higher price, as I have to factor in the time it takes to arrive to the student/transportation costs.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been tutoring since I was in high school! I love helping students understand concepts and feel good about what they are learning.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kindergarten to college!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What topics specifically they need help with.
