I work directly with your child's teacher This enables me to work with your child on the specific areas that need reinforcing. My goal is to work on the same subject matter that is covered each week in the classroom. I also assist with homework as needed. Many parents require knowledge about the new core programs and therefore I guide parents in that regard as well if they so request.
I enjoy seeing the progress that my students make while learning on an individual basis with much positive reinforcement of their skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will discuss with the parent what they feel their child's current needs are as well as level and teacher expectations at this time. I explain how I work closely communicating with their child's teacher in order to reinforce exactly which area is requiring attention. I suggest a plan of the frequency of sessions. This initial discussion with the parents enables me to begin tutoring on the very first session. I will discuss weekly progress with the parents at the conclusion of each session.
