Graduated with my masters in education and bachelors in psychology, and have been in the education field for 8 years, I am confident in my teaching abilities. I have been tutoring numerous years for multiple grade levels. I can cover mathematics, ELA, social studies and science.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Find out what the student needs help in.
2. Understanding the student's learning style(s)- (i.e. visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.)
3. Work on the skill the student struggles with while catering to his/her learning style.
4. Check for understanding through informal and formal assessments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Qualifications I possess :
-Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.
-Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
-1 year as a 1st Grade Teacher at a public school.
- 3rd Grade Leave-Replacement at a public school.
- Familiarity and application with the Elementary Education Common-Core curriculum.
-Experience working as a Permanent Substitute in grades k-6.
- Experience teaching remotely.
-Mindfulness Certificate from Malloy College.
-Enrolled and pursuing an accredited Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training Program to become a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher (will be completed in August 2020).
