I use research based pedagogies to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Chemical concepts are spplied to real world applications. I have been successfully teaching and tutoring students in years at the high school, 2 and 4 year colleges for over 30 years
Teaching is very rewarding...I love to see the "ah-ha" moment when a student finally understands a concept and then can apply it to solve other problems.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Assess what misconceptions/difficulties a student has. 2.Review the concepts in a clear fashion. 3. Provide sample problems to assess the students understanding. 4. Provide additional problems to see if student can apply knowledge to other problems/questions.
