About
With more than 34 years as a certified art educator, I am now retired and would love to bring creative experiences to you and your child. Lessons are designed to be flexible and choice based, but will build on critical thinking and the NYS standards for the Visual Arts. Perhaps you need high school portfolio help. I have helped students create competitive college entrance portfolios, as well as had my Advanced Placement Art students consistently score a 4 or 5!
It is so exciting and rewarding to play a role in the creative process! One goal of mine is for students to experience joy and confidence while they discover their artistic potential!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to ask some questions and find out what inspires my students. I would also like to see ther past work and find out what they hope to learn, so my teaching is as customized as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught in public school at the secondary level for 34 years. My Advanced Placement Art students have always scored very high. I hone my skills by taking art classes
