Deep Math
About
I basically redefine the student's thinking patterns towards a problem while trying to teach math.
I have a passion for connecting the teaching methods to reality. What does that mean, we need to make sure students get a sense of why they learn in addition to what they learn at every step.
While I have been watching my son learning from school, I understood schools are not yet teaching in a real sense. I think teachers are assigned with predefined patterns and they will not have time or experience to see outside of those patterns.
As a software engineer, working closely on technology development, I see the value of learning mathematics in the right sense. As I understand how mathematics helps particularly in the future technology economy and I have a passion for teaching mathematics as well, I have taken a step to teach as many students as possible outside my regular job. A lot of us learn well, but we fail to apply those skills in the job as we lack a sense of making progress.

The way I question students while I teach to make sure they learn more than I teach. I would train rather than teach. Questioning based on the individual approach for solving the problem and guide them to connect the dots and solve problems will make children so happy and those moments would make me proud.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do not prefer to overwhelm students. As every child already learning math in school, I would understand their current progress and assess their current ability. I would consider teaching only if they are lacking an approach in a real sense to understand problems and solutions.
I would provide challenges at the end of every session to make sure student understands in real sense why they learn anything they learn and how it is used in applications.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My regular job is on technology innovation and development, but I enjoy teaching mathematics as mathematics helps to develop an algorithmic thinking approach and which is key for a future technology-based economy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I believe experience is less important as most of the tutors work for decades but they do not understand what could be done better and why! They just repeat the same for decades. This is not only in the teaching sector, applies in all job sectors.
Please look at the tutor's teaching approach over experience. Take help from your parents or family members to understand the teaching approach and choose tutors. Tutors are not only for teaching subjects, they can set your thinking pattern for solving any problem based on the approach they take, do not rely on experience or reviews which can be manipulated in many different ways to attract clients. Take time to look deep into the tutor's approach and choose one that suits your needs. Ask for free trails.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It is not easy, I help them think.
