I have different techniques in the way i teach. I master ways to keep a student involved in learning. I love to give face to face eye contact and I love to smile. I keep my students engaged in our activities. I let them ask all the questions they want. I want them to know it doesnt mean that their stupid when they ask questions and are not sure about the assignment. I have taught at my residence and at the local library. I have in my possession an Associates Degree in Education Studies.
I just love to help other achieve. Education is the key to success. I simply like to share my knowledge with others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to sit down with my student and introduce myself so they could feel comfortable with me. To ask them their strengths and weaknesses. To inform them that they are not in this alone. We will work together as a team. I will have in my possession a chalkboard. This way my students are engaged in the teaching session as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I use to be a tutorer for Cheggs tutoring. I tutored for just one year as a I do have a full time job. I graduated from college with an Associates degree. I received my degree in Education Studies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I really dont have a pricing system. I mean if it is a more difficult subject I may have to increase my rates.
How did you get started teaching?
Again i worked for Cheggs tutoring for one year. I worked with about 5 regular students at the time. I worked online. I really prefer to work with students one on one whether its at their residence or at a public library. This works well for me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with second and third graders. I even worked with students with learning disabilities as they have special needs. I know with them you have to make adjustments. Patience is the key with them. I have mostly worked with minority students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get to know the person that will be your tutorer. Engaging in a friendly conversation. Feeling comfortable around your potential tutorer. Ask questions about their background. What makes them love teaching? Do they find teaching as being rewarding?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Will this teacher really be of help to me?
2. Will this teacher think I am stupid if I ask to many question?
3. Is this teacher really knowledgible in the subject I really need help in?
4. Would this teacher ever want to teach me again?
