Finding out their needs and what they are struggling with. Focus on their area of developement and work on it until thay are comfortable with the material.

I am A Physician Assistant Student with multiple degree that related to Criminal Justice, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and healthcare in general.

Make sure the teacher teaches in a way you learn not the way the want to teach.
