AlgeChem Tutoring
About
I struggled a lot as an adolescent in many subjects and was given little to no help from the education system. As I got older and went to highschool I started to pick up on what I wasnt good at, so much so that by sophomore year I was in all the honors and AP classes my school offered. I graduated with an advanced regents deploma. According to www.nysed.gov, To do so "a student needs to have a computed average score of 90 or higher on all Regents examinations required for the Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation (no rounding up is permitted)." My best subjects were Chemistry, Algebra I and II, and Geometry. I am currently attending the University at Buffalo (SUNY) as a Pharmacy student. My goal is to leave every student I tutor with the same understanding in the subject as I have currently.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will firstly introduce myself, and allow the new student to get comfortable. Then I will ask them what they are up to in the subject in school. Following this I will give them a placement test I created to understand where they need improvement. I will aslo ask the student where he personally thinks he needs help. From this point I will then procede to help the student and progress will be made.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Graduated highschool in the top 10% with an Advanced Regents Diploma, and a 4.0 GPA.
I am currently a Pharmacty student at the University at Buffalo (SUNY).
I have tutored before, this is not new to me. I was a peer tutor for Chem at my highschool, and I tutored middle schoolers in most subjects at the same time.
