Demi's Tutoring

Hi, my name is Demi! I have a lot of patience, and one of my greatest joys is seeing students gain confidence in subjects they once struggled with. My strengths are in English, reading, and writing, and I would love to help learners build the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

I pride myself on being a great communicator who is understanding and flexible. You’ll never feel rushed when learning with me—I always go at your pace, and I’m happy to review concepts as many times as needed until everything feels clear.

I’ve worked with students for over seven years, including running an afterschool program where I supported homework, test prep, and different subject areas. This gave me a strong understanding of the challenges learners face and the importance of tailoring lessons to different levels and learning styles.

My approach is flexible and creative—I use a variety of materials, techniques, and strategies to match each individual’s needs. I also welcome feedback, and I’m happy to adapt my methods to meet both student and parent goals. My goal is always to create a positive, encouraging environment where learning feels comfortable and rewarding.
