Tranquille Tutoring
About
My tutoring service is not only based on teaching my students content that will Ace their next exam. More importantly, I strive to teach my students learning techniques that they can use throughout their entire life and for any subject matter. By using these studying techniques, I have been able to acquire amazing grades at a top tier university. In addition, I have two years of tutoring experience which I acuired through university, teaching peers different college level subjects such as Calculus, CompSci, Mathematic (Discrete and Calculus), Latin, English, and Writing.
The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is helping a student overcome and/or complete a problem of extreme difficulty for them. To see a student's 'aha' moment, is the most rewarding feeling for a tutor or teacher.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process involves first questioning my student on a few core ideas of learning. These questions usually include but are not limited to, how do you combat this subject, what are your techniques for learning this topic, how should you study after learning the material. Afterwards, I try to tackle the topics within the subject that are the most difficult, using normal, simple, and some real-world examples for the student to better understand the topic and its importance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a strong education in latin, business (specifically finance and economics), computer science, and data science. Each of these fields/topics overlap into other subjects, such as mathematics, english, and statistics. Thus, my training in these subjects, makes me a reliable tutor for plenty of topics.
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring my younger peers throughout highschool. When entering college to attain my bachelors degree, I also began tutoring in subjects that I was well versed in since highschool.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a large variety of students. I have had younger students that are far ahead of their respective grade level. I have also had students with learning dsiabilities inlcuding, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and some verbal disabilities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is not going to teach you one topic to Ace the next exam, waiting for you to return before the next exam. Instead look for a tutor that adequately equips you with the necessary tools to learn, study, and practice any subject with or without the help of a tutor.
