About
I have worked with students ranging from the ages of 4 to 18 for the past fiver years and have expertise to cater lessons towards each student's needs. I also have extensive experience working in a elementary classroom at a New York Department of Education elementary school.
I enjoy creating mentorships with my students and giving them support both academically and in life. This allows for students to be more open with me and ask me questions freely.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first learn about the student and how he or she is doing in his or her academic courses. Then I will learn about the student in general, asking about hobbies and things that interest them. I will then slowly ease into the academic material and check regularly if the student is following along or if I need to change things up to create more positive learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have recently graduated Hunter College with a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and Mathematics. I am also initially certified to teach Childhood Education in New York State.
