What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will take my time getting to know the student on the first and second day so that I can learn which ways would help the student concentrate. Then, I will try different methods to make sure the student focuses. I usually have them teach me what they know and let them take the lead so that later, they are willing to let me lead as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for over 2 years with students. It was a mini classroom. I also worked with a 12th grade class at a school and taught civic education.

I started by volunteering at a mosque and later taught as a democracy coach for Generation Citizen.
